PACK WALKS
Socialization is key to providing balance and understanding for dogs with the world they live in. This Pack Walk is an on-leash socialization experience with leash handling training touch-up for previous clients. Unlike other pack walks, there are no on-leash meetings.
The value is in creating trust between dog and handler through focus on the unit rather than the environment around them. It is intended to help create a culture of calm within the pack. We respect each dog's space and limitations.
It's an excellent opportunity to socialize your dog with others without the pressure of interaction. If your dog cannot contain their excitement when you pass another dog, your dog needs this! If you are nervous about having your dog around other dogs, you need this! If you've been struggling or just want to get back into the swing of things, join the walk!
You will need control of your dog so that he may respect the space of the dogs around him. Dogs need to be on a 6-foot leash and safe collar or harness per the leash laws in Pennsylvania. Retractable leashes are not allowed.
